關(guān)于無菌大鼠飼料的選擇：

無菌大鼠是指在無菌環(huán)境下生長繁殖的大鼠，由于無菌條件下大鼠腸內(nèi)無微生物，大鼠失去了腸內(nèi)寄生的微生物的營養(yǎng)作用，體內(nèi)代謝發(fā)生了巨大改變，因此無菌大鼠飼料與普通大鼠及SPF大鼠飼料也有較大差異。如果采用后者的任意飼料（包括日常喂養(yǎng)飼料、純化型飼料）喂養(yǎng)，顯然無法滿足無菌大鼠的營養(yǎng)需求，最明顯的表現(xiàn)是大鼠發(fā)育緩慢和狀態(tài)異常。

一個常見的誤區(qū)在于，很多研究者認為只需要將普通大鼠飼料進行滅菌處理就可以喂養(yǎng)無菌大鼠。這種誤區(qū)往往會造成以下兩方面的問題：

一方面，為滿足大鼠飼料的無菌要求，采用高劑量輻照滅菌或者蒸汽滅菌，導致大量營養(yǎng)素流失，無菌大鼠出現(xiàn)營養(yǎng)缺乏、發(fā)育緩慢現(xiàn)象；另一方面，即使經(jīng)過輻照滅菌或蒸汽滅菌，普通大鼠飼料仍然無法達到無菌標準，喂養(yǎng)后會造成無菌大鼠的各種狀態(tài)異常。

所以為避免出現(xiàn)以上問題，研究者在無菌大鼠的飼養(yǎng)過程中應堅持選用無菌大鼠專用飼料。
